InRoads: Field to Finish and the BIM World - HANDS-ON (Int/Adv) with Instructor Mark Ditko
What is BIM? How can I get it started? What’s important about it? How is it leveraged? Whose responsibility is it? The future has arrived and you are in it. Find out how project data moves from Field to Finish electronically using InRoads, beginning with survey field collection and ending with staking and machine control …and beyond. This session will cover the coding, collection and post-processing of field data and the results that InRoads Survey can produce. Following this, the use of InRoads will be discussed relative to how it is used in the Engineering process. From here, the presentation will cover how InRoads data & the Trimble products can be utilized during construction in Staking and Machine Control. During the presentation there will be an ever-present commentary on the world of BIM and how it relates to your specific zone of activity and involvement. This is a high level session that emphasizes the important elements of this electronic movement of data from field to finish. Certain technical details and ‘nuts and bolts’ will also be covered throughout the session.
